A sprawling, newly renovated 3 bedroom, 4,700 ft2 two-story residence sits on an acre of private land in Carefree, AZ. It is located in the heart of North Scottsdale’s tranquil golf resort area, just west of the famous championship Desert Mountain Golf course and Tonto National Forest.

You are also a mere 5 minutes from the popular night life in Cave Creek, which boasts live music, dancing and rodeos. Being minutes from some of the regions best golf courses, such as Boulders, Grayhawk, and Troon North, rounds off your exceptional holiday.

You may choose to just chill in the resort like back garden; luxuriating in the jacuzzi, BBQing, basking in the sun, roasting marshmallows in the fireplace under the stars, or playing a large selection of board and garden games. NORTH FACING SHADED VERANDA
The coveted north-facing aspect offers the best of both worlds, as you can get the sun by the pool and grass area, but easily escape under a covered and shaded veranda to play table tennis or just lounge. The second story deck offers views of the Sonoran desert, amazing desert sunsets and mountains with deer, bobcat, coyote, javelina, and dozens of bird species.

SITTING ROOM
The gas burning fireplace has a chiselled white Quartz surround with a solid flagstone mantel and hearth. All furniture in the ground floor common areas is designer, Italian leather, or bespoke. A 6’1” grand piano graces the sitting room, which has wonderful acoustics. A large round table is ideal for board and card games. Audio wise, there are built in or surround sound speakers throughout the house that can be controlled by Apple Air Play.

BEDROOMS
All bedrooms have highest quality pillow top King sized mattresses, fine linens, goose down duvets and goose down pillows, bathrobes, slippers, hair dryers, beach towels and amenities. All bedrooms are large, newly carpeted for comfort, and each contain an ensuite bathroom, walk-in closet, sofa, desk and a lighted magnifying makeup mirror. One guest room has a full-sized sleeper sofa, which can cosily sleep an additional 2 people.

Master bedroom: The master bedroom has a gas fireplace, sitting area, long sofa, and a 65″ Smart TV with Amazon Firestick. The master’s large ensuite bathroom has a spa bathtub with jets, two sinks, makeup mirrors, and a bidet. The master also has a door to the second story balcony, which has a large sofa, sun umbrellas and a romantic swing.

GYM
The gym has a rubber floor and includes a Schwinn spinning bike, Sole cross trainer (elliptical), Power Plate, various hand-weights and bench, pull-up bar, large exercise ball, and ample Pilates kit. The gym also has a TV with Apple iTV.

KITCHEN
The kitchen is fully kitted and you should want for nothing. There is even a snow cone maker and an old fashioned hot dog roaster for the kiddies. Appliances include a microwave, 2 conventional ovens, bun warmer, 6-burner gas cooktop, electric cooktop, Sub Zero refrigerator and freezer (with ice-maker), 2 dishwashers, filter coffee maker, Nespresso coffee maker, and garbage disposal. There are ample dishes, cutlery, glasses and pots and pans. The double kitchen sink has an RO filtered water system. The kitchen island is ideal for serving buffets or just sitting watching the cook. The large dining table comfortably seats 12.

PARKING
The garage has one available parking space. Additional parking for 2 cars is available just outside the garage. There is also an RV parking space.

LOCAL ACTIVITIES AND REGIONAL ATTRACTIONS
The house is a 5 minute drive to the iconic Tonto National Forest and 5 minutes to the hiking trails of Black Mountain and Spur Cross Ranch. The famed Lake Bartlett is within 20 minutes and is ideal for jet skiing, swimming, fishing and boating. Boats can be rented at the lake. Pre-Columbian Indian ruins are within 15 minutes, and you are within 25 minutes of the center of Scottsdale. For those who want to try their luck or take in a concert, the Talking Stick Casino is 30 minutes away.

For the horse lover, nearby Spur Cross Stables (5 min) and MacDonald’s Ranch (15 min) offers horses for trail riding, as does MTM Ranch (15 min) in Tonto National Forest. If you prefer something more mechanical, the Flat Tire Bike Shop in Cave Creek (5min) offers bicycles to rent.

For the golf aficionado, the house is just minutes from top ranked North Scottsdale golf resorts Boulders (5 min), Grayhawk (15 min), Desert Mountain (3 min), TPC Scottsdale (20 min), Troon North (12 min), Legend Trails (5 min), Vista Verde (20 min) Sunridge Canyon (30 min), Kierland (25 min) and many more.

If you want to venture further afield, the house is 2 hours to scenic Sedona; about 3 hours to the Grand Canyon and 4.5 hours to Monument Valley and Las Vegas.

NIGHTLIFE
The nearby western town of Cave Creek (5 min) is known for an active night life, live music, dancing, fine restaurants, art and wine festivals, rodeos, and Navajo boutiques. Cave Creek’s Buffalo Chip has live rodeos every Friday night.
